In this episode, The Cooking Doc whips up a quick, delicious, full of fresh flavor Pico de Gallo! This recipe beats any store bought salsa. Enjoy.
I consider this my “ketchup” because it’s delish on just about everything.(Seriously, try it!)
Homemade Pico de Gallo
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 Chopped cilantro
- 2-3 seeded and diced jalapenos
- Juice of 1 lime
- Add all ingredients together, mix well and enjoy!
For a lower potassium modification, substitute roasted red peppers for tomatoes
