Smoothie Recipe (High Potassium)

Here is a quick and healthy smoothie with hemp seeds – which I find gives it a fuller flavor and adds some protein and fiber to the drink. Are you on a low potassium diet? I’ve got a version for that too!



Smoothie (High Potassium Version

Servings 2
Calories 192 kcal


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 peeled orange or 1 peeled clementine / tangerine
  • 2/3 cup ice
  • 1 cup almond milk or Greek yogurt
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons hemp hearts or chia seeds


  • Add all ingrdients to a blender and blend well.
