  • 8 ounces softened lower fat cream cheese or Neufchatel
  • 8 ounces soft tofu
  • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite low sodium hot sauce 100 mg or less per serving
  • 3/4 teaspoon of nutritional yeast
  • 2 cups shredded chicken breast
  • Fresh veggies such as lightly steamed broccoli and cauliflower, carrots, celery, cucumber


  • Preheat oven to 350º
  • Mix all ingredients (except chicken and fresh vegetables) in a food processor and process 2-3 minutes until smooth
  • Combine sauce and shredded chicken breast in a oven proof dish
  • Heat 20-25 minutes until bubbly
  • Serve with veggies and whole wheat pita bread


For a lower carbohydrate and more diabetic friendly version, eat only a 1/2 cup portion
