Quick Cinnamon Apples

An easy, delicious, 3-ingredient recipe for when you need something a little sweet and you need it now!

INGREDIENTS:

4 apples – peeled and cubed
Ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon vegan (or regular) butter

DIRECTIONS:

1. Heat a large, deep sauté pan over medium heat
2. Melt butter in the pan
3. Add apples and cinnamon and stir to coat
4. Add ¼ cup of water
5. Cover and simmer for 5-15 minutes until apples are cooked to your desired consistency.

OTHER YUMMY IDEAS FOR CINNAMON APPLES:

Use apples for oatmeal or pancakes, or top with Greek yogurt (they are also fantastic with a little vanilla ice cream).
